New Emergency Code Calls

Tri-State Memorial Hospital & Medical Campus will adopt standardized Emergency Code Calls starting on February 17, 2020. The new Emergency Code Calls will help quickly communicate and mobilize resources in the event of an emergency on Tri-State Memorial Hospital's campus! Please view the attachment for the new code calls.

Safe Patient Handling Class

Jennifer Kaufman, Gastroenterology NP, hosted an employee education discussing cases in diarrhea.The discussion included recognizing who to test and how to treat c. difficile, microscopic colitis,and functional diarrhea/Irritable Bowel Syndrome.


Sepsis Awareness

September is Sepsis Awareness Month. This month is a time for the public, healthcare providers, and organizations to come together to raise awareness and help saves lives. Did you know that sepsis is the leading cause of death in the US? As many as 80% of sepsis deaths could be prevented with rapid diagnosis and treatment. Hyperbaric Medicine

Jonathan Scott hosted an employee education seminar about how our body’s tissues need oxygen to function, including the need for Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO), the mechanisms of action and physiology of HBO, and the risks of treatment of HBO.

Foot Care

Karl Johnson, DPM of Tri-State Podiatry, hosted an employee education seminar on how to keep your feet healthy throughout all stages of life, including identification and treatment of common foot and ankle issues, proper footwear, and when to consider surgery.

Wound Care Medley

Tamara Youman, RN, hosted an employee education seminar about different types of wounds, how to measure and treat these wounds, and what the best practice is for swabbing culture wounds.
